It was founded in 1991 as a focal point for issues affecting both the Estate and the immediate locality. LERA produces a regular Newsletter which is delivered by our Street Representatives to all our members.

Carriageway Resurfacing for Leamington Avenue
Members in Leamington Avenue should have received this notice from the contractors, Conway. The letter was sent to me as a Pdf which cannot be loaded on Blogger so I have scanned it instead.
I meant to write this on Friday - the work has now been completed and I must congratulate the contractors. They have done a good job; they were quick, efficient, clean and tidy and within the time period stated. We now have a new road in Leamington Avenue - long overdue ! I'm also glad that the Council have seen sense in that the SLOW signs have now been placed in a position where you can see the whole word even with cars parked either side. All in all a job well done.
