The
DVD of this local film was officially launched on Remembrance Day and is raising
funds for the Poppy Appeal. The heart-warming family drama starring popular TV
actors Brian Murphy and Linda Regan is about 4-year old Bessie Smiley and her
sisters who want to do ‘war work’. But their
‘Secret Operation’ brings little Bessie face to face with the grumpiest old man
in town!

The
film Premiere at the Churchill Theatre was attended by 1,500 people! It’s a
feature length drama based on local people’s wartime memories and filmed around
the Bromley borough, created by local filmmaker Anna Littler - along with 150
local people including Orpington Video and Film Makers and members of local
churches.
The
DVD costs £12 (plus £2 P&P per item). The Poppy Appeal will receive 30% so please support us!
