Pack of Lies - St Andrew's Hall 27th to 29th October

‘Late 1960 into 1961, Elvis was in the charts with ‘Now or Never’ & ‘Are you Lonesome Tonight’,
conscription ends, the farthing ceased to be legal tender & ‘Coronation Street’ aired for the first time on ITV.

It was also the height of the Cold War and the Portland Spy Ring incident.
Forced to choose between betraying their country or their friends, the unsuspecting suburban Jackson family is sucked into a web of deception. Their values, trust and respect for authority are gradually eroded as they are faced with the moral dilemma of allowing their unassuming house in Ruislip to be used by MI5 to spy on their best friends.

Inspired by actual events, the play is a powerful, gripping, truthful story of lies.'
